This training ensures that all personnel who are employed to carry out Rescue and Fire-fighting (RFF) Airfield Operations, or any other Staff or Managers whose duties involve the correct application of licensing regulations (including Health and Safety, CAP 168-699 etc) at licensed aerodromes receive appropriate training (acquisition of knowledge, skills and understanding) to allow them to take appropriate actions during and post incident to ensure the gathering and preservation of appropriate evidence to allow the compilation of accurate, concise reports which may later have to be presented in court or at a tribunal or disciplinary type hearing.
The aim of this course is to ensure that all personnel are able to:
Through good preparation to minimise the amount of time delegates would have to spend in court should they ever have to appear, and by doing so provide appropriate levels of corporate assurance.
Course Content and Objectives
The course requires learners to participate in a mock incident or safety inspection (role dependent) gather and preserve relevant evidence at the scene in a timely manner, compile and collate accurate, concise reports on their participation in the incident and if necessary make recommendations as to short medium and long term solutions to causal factors.
Participants will then be given the opportunity to present their evidence in a realistic way in a Courtroom/Tribunal/Hearing setting by role play in a safe environment.

2 days at Edinburgh Airport Fire Training Centre (accommodation can be arranged if required) or at client's site.
